I think there needs to be a book that explains why the answer is that answer to go with this book. This book just has answers and questions in it. Great if you want to test your knowledge on it but not if you need a study guide. There isn’t a study guide that i have found to go with this book yet if you have let me know……….

I am the Program Director for a Medical Assisting Program and highly recommend this book to all of my students. It has more questions than any other books I’ve used but the best part is that every question has a rationale/explanation. Not errors noted. I got a 729 (98%) on the CMA and I had a student that studied only from this book and got a 711 (97%.

The CD-Rom that contains the extra tests does not work.

There is a known problem with the software, and there is no patch or support. You cannot use the practice tests, unless you are inclined to look up the answers for each of the 3 tests, at 300 questions per test.

When I called Prentice Hall, they basically said they were sorry, and hung up.
